Here are a few answers to some of the most commonly asked questions we have received. Q. How do I notify the state of CLE credits I earned by attending one of your seminars?

A. Advantage Legal Seminars will send you instructions and codes for applying for your CLE credits upon purchase of our audio seminar presentations. In some states you can get your CLE credits immediately by going online to your state bar association and entering your bar number with the codes we provide to you. However, because each state’s recording requirements are different, we suggest that you check with your state bar association to see how self-study credits are accepted in your state.

Q. I have placed my order for a New York City Bar product and have a question?

A. You may contact Customer Service at the New York City Bar by calling 212-382-6663.

Q. How early do I need to reserve a seat for one of your "live" legal seminars? Is there a way to just go to the event that day and register at the door?

A. Our "live" seminars do fill up quickly, and seats are limited. For this reason, we strongly recommend you register before the event to reserve your seat. However, we do accept attorneys and staff members who choose to pay at the door on the day of the program (if there are any seats still remaining).

Q. I don't live in Florida, but I'd like to attend one of your "live" legal seminars. Do you offer them in any other states?

A. Currently the live legal seminar programs are only available in Florida. However, Advantage Legal Seminars does offer seminars for private practices in other states that approve the programs for CLE credits. You can use our online "Contact Us" form to inquire about seminars for private practices, or simply call Advantage Legal Seminars at 1-888-267-6097 for specific information about our on-site seminars.

Q. How many credits will I receive through a purchased self-study course?

A. The number of CLE credits varies according to each self-study product and their respective state(s). Each self-study product lists the amount of CLE credits you will receive and are detailed by state upon each self-study product details page.

Q. Are the CLE credits transferable to anyone who listens your audio programs?

A. Upon purchase of the audio programs, Advantage Legal Seminars notifies your state bar association that you have purchased the product and have earned state-approved CLE credits for that state. If multiple attorneys wish to earn the same CLE credits in one office, a licensing fee for additional attorneys is available. Q. Do you offer any discounts to educational institutions or law libraries?

A. Yes! Please contact us for complete details about our educational and institutional discount programs.

Q. I have placed my order, when will I receive my Lorman OnDemand product?

A. If you place an OnDemand product order during regular business hours and do not receive your confirmation email containing your username and password to access your program within one (1) hour, please call Lorman Education at 866.352.9539. Orders placed after regular business hours or on weekends and holidays will be processed during the next business day. Regular business hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST.

Q. What are On Demand Webinars?

A. On Demand Webinars allow you to view previously recorded topics online when and where they are most convenient for you. From your own home or office, you can watch, pause, rewind and replay from anywhere you've got a computer and an Internet connection.
